In terms of their gene expression, these cells correspond to embryonic mammalian stem cells or induced pluripotent stem cells.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"wpb_column vc_column_container\"><div class=\"vc_column-inner\"><div class=\"w-image align_none\"><div class=\"w-image-h\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"600\" height=\"250\" src=\"https:\/\/gobio-gmbh.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/innovation-gobio-002.jpg\" class=\"attachment-large size-large\" alt=\"\" loading=\"lazy\" srcset=\"https:\/\/gobio-gmbh.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/innovation-gobio-002.jpg 600w, https:\/\/gobio-gmbh.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/innovation-gobio-002-300x125.jpg 300w, https:\/\/gobio-gmbh.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/innovation-gobio-002-100x42.jpg 100w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"w-separator size_small\"><\/div><div class=\"wpb_text_column\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><p>We assume that the longevity, regenerative capacity and seasonal regeneration of the carp&#8217;s gonads are based on this cell type. This provides us with a highly innovative model for researching the biology of stem cells in vertebrates.<\/p>\n<p>In collaboration with the University Hospital of Cologne (AG Prof. Hescheler \/PD Dr. Kurt Pfannkuche), the cell line was transformed into a transgenic variant with stable histone 2B-associated GFP expression<em>(<span class=\"tief\">KCBGFP<\/span> DSM ACC 3285<\/em> Budapest Treaty).
